Worship as Expression

 At Palms Baptist, we worship as an expression of our love for God. Worship is expressed in a variety of ways throughout the Bible, and we use these expressions in our corporate gatherings at Palms Baptist Church.

Worship is Communal

At Palms, we intend to gather and lead our congregation of believers into joyful song and praise. As the church is of one body, spirit, and mind, so too we should be of one voice in praise.

Worship is Active and Personal

God desires our worship, and He rightly deserves it! As such, our worship team does not worship on behalf of each individual believer, rather we intend to lead each individual in personal praise in one unified song that connects our hearts and voices in praise.

Worship is offered to God and God alone

Our worship spans from traditional hymns (with musical instruments) to contemporary worship songs. We intend to engage every believer throughout every generation in their preferred worship style; however, our praise is an offering to God and God alone. Our worship is meant to lead the congregation to God-not sing to the congregation.

"Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago."
